john said "david stole gold"
harry said " john stole diamond"
david said "i did'n stole gold and ruby"

After that police found out who stole the gold said truth.who have stolen which?

PUZZLE 8:

There are weights ranging between 1 and 1000.you have been given a weight machine(balancing machine) where you can place weights on both sides.If you pick weights 1 and 3,you can measure 2 by placing 1 along with 2 and 3 on other side and also you can measure 4 by placing 1,3 on same side.So how many minimum number of weights you have to pick to measure all weights between 1kg and 1000kg?

PUZZLE OF THE DAY:PIRATES AND DIAMONDS

PUZZLE 7:PIRATES AND DIAMONDS

5 pirates found a treasure of 100 diamonds.They have ranking like pirate 1 leads then pirate 2,..so on.pirate 1 proposes idea to share the diamonds and everyone will vote for it(including himself).If 50% or more vote for it,diamonds will be shared that way,otherwise he will be killed and process will continue with remaining pirates.

As the pirates are cruel,if he would get same number of diamonds if he voted or against the idea,he will vote against it and the pirate who proposed it would be killed.All pirates are greedy and they want to have maximum diamonds.

Assume all pirates are equally greedy,intelligent,and do not wish to die.What will happen?

PUZLLE OF THE DAY:100 LIGHT BULBS

PUZZLE 6:100 LIGHT BULBS

There are 100 light bulbs in a room numbered as 1,2,...100 and are currently switched off.Each bulb has its own switch.There are 100 persons numbered as same(1,2,...100).
Person No.1 enters the room and switched on every bulb,then person 2 enters and switched off bubs(2,4,6,8,...)(changed state of bulbs).Then person No.3 enters and changed the state of bulbs numbered 3,6,9,....This continues upto all 100 persons.
At last how many bulbs are switched on?
